The former president's Granddaughter Receives Expert Advice from Tiger Woods Prior to LPGA First Appearance
The rising star boasts substantial social media audience
The young golfer can count on plenty of well-known cheerleaders when she starts her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be the granddaughter of Donald Trump, received a sponsor's invitation to compete at Florida's Annika event in Florida.
Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, owns numerous international courses and regularly matches against his granddaughter.
"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we play competitive games," she revealed.
She mentioned that her grandfather, who cannot attend, told her: "Just stay calm."
"He essentially advised me to play and have fun," she continued.
"To me, he's just an ordinary family member. He can't make it this weekend. He's focused on presidential duties, so he's somewhat preoccupied."
Being non-professional, Kai has played in only three events this year and holds the 461st position in AJGA standings.
However she's able to seek guidance from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with Vanessa.
"He stands as the best player in the world," the young golfer said.
"Furthermore, he's a more impressive individual. He told me to compete, have fun, adapting to the flow."
The golfer will compete against some of most prominent players in professional golf at the competition, including world number two the champion, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
The LPGA stated that her participation helps introduce golf to different demographics, particularly among younger fans.
Kai maintains substantial online presence and has started her own clothing and lifestyle brand.
Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
